I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you folks about a great and worthwhile organization I am fortunate to be involved with in a small way.
EAGLES’ WINGS
of Tuscaloosa
Eagles’ Wings is a village dedicated to providing a family styled atmosphere for adults with mild, moderate, severe and medically fragile disabilities. We strive to provide a wide array of services that meet their spiritual, physical, emotional, social and vocational needs. Our primary objective is centered on happiness for each individual in a secure, nurturing disciplined environment.

I first became aware of Eagle’s Wings during a trip to Tuscaloosa to celebrate Jim Nabors’ induction into the Alabama Hall of Fame in 2006. I had the opportunity to meet many of the special and wonderful people who are involved in and/or benefitting from this organization. I have 2 healthy, happy children whom I thank God for everyday and this group just touched my heart.
Every year they have a fund raising weekend in mid April. Through a Golf Tournament, a wonderful Mayberry related stage show and a celebrity auction, this year they raised over $75,000!
We hope this next year will be even BIGGER!!
